The newly-elected Board for 2010 met on 12/19/09 at C.A.S.T. Central.

Attending were: Chair: Mary, Vice-chair: Dave, Secretary: Susan, Treasurer: Casey, Webmaster: Bob and Special Events Coordiantor: Iris.

1. Treasurer report was given.
2. Mary will do a quarterly newsletter.
3. A Meet 'n Greet is scheduled for Jan.16, 2010 and Iris is looking into a location.
4. When posting onto yahoo, a Board member is asked to start their message with "Hi, I'm _____ and I am the (board position) for C.A.S.T."
5. We are working on applying for 501-C-3 status.
6. Some upcoming events were discussed.
   • There will be a gathering at Givhans Feb. 26-28, with a handfasting (Iris and Dave renewing their vows on their anniversary), the Croning Ceremony, drumming, etc.
   • May 7-9 will be Beltane in the Pines.
   • Samhain at Givhans will be Oct. 29-30.
   • On Sep. 11, Bob will host the Fall Fling at Dorchester park which will include a tribute for 9/11.
   • Pagan Unity Day is scheduled for Nov. 13, at the Armory in North Charleston.
   • The idea for a Yule cruise was discussed, possibly on Dec.18. Tickets will need to be sold.
7. Our Pagan Food Bank is up and running, and Bob has offered to store the items at his house.
8. The Board was asked to come up with fundraising ideas for 2010. One suggestion was a C.A.S.T. Spellbook, tentatively titled "Book of Knowledge". Dave is in charge of this, and Susan will help.
9. We need to get people willing to teach classes, and payment will be required.
